Jake Gyllenhaal and Phoebe Dynevor share the screen for the first time in Remain, a romantic thriller that blends love, mystery and suspense. Set to arrive in cinemas in February 2027, the film follows a reclusive architect whose encounter with an enigmatic young woman draws him into the dark secrets of a quiet coastal town.

Gyllenhaal stars as Tate Gordon, an architect who moves to a small seaside community to complete his latest project. Hoping to start a new chapter, Tate finds himself pulled out of his shell after meeting a mysterious woman portrayed by Dynevor, only to become entangled in a deadly mystery surrounding the town.

The film marks an unusual collaboration between filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan and bestselling author Nicholas Sparks, combining elements of romance, thriller and the supernatural. Shyamalan directs from his own screenplay based on a story he developed with Sparks.

Ashley Walters, Julie Hagerty and Jay O. Sanders also join the cast of Remain, which is produced by Shyamalan, Ashwin Rajan, Marc Bienstock, and Theresa Park, with Sparks serving as executive producer.
