Motherhood inspires Lovi Poe to dream bigger

Lovi Poe is embracing one of the most meaningful chapters of her life with renewed purpose, saying motherhood has not diminished her drive to succeed but has instead given her a deeper reason to chase her ambitions.

The actress made the heartfelt reflection as she officially began a new journey under Star Magic, calling it a fresh season filled with opportunities both in her personal life and career.

Looking back on her experience as a first-time mom, Lovi admitted that pregnancy, childbirth, and the demands of caring for a newborn have tested her in ways she never imagined. Even so, she described every sacrifice as rewarding, sharing that the pain of labor, sleepless nights, and the ongoing experience of breastfeeding have all been worth it.

She revealed that before welcoming her daughter, work had always been at the center of her life. As someone who had long been focused on building her career, she confessed that she once hesitated to start a family, worrying that becoming a mother might force her to let go of the dreams she had worked so hard to achieve.

Those fears eventually gave way to a different realization.

Lovi explained that motherhood and ambition do not compete with one another. Instead, she discovered that both can exist side by side, with each making the other stronger. She said becoming a parent has only fueled her determination, proving that women do not have to choose between building a family and pursuing meaningful careers.

The actress also encouraged other career-driven women who share the same anxieties she once had. According to Lovi, moments of doubt are natural, but having a strong support system and the right mindset can make it possible to continue reaching personal and professional goals even after becoming a parent.

Among the biggest changes in her life, she said, is her newfound appreciation for family. While motherhood has brought a level of exhaustion unlike anything she had experienced before, she believes the joy of raising a child far outweighs every challenge.

Lovi married British film producer Monty Blencowe in Berkshire, England, in 2023. The couple welcomed their first child in 2025, a milestone that has reshaped the actress’ priorities while reinforcing her belief that family and career can flourish together.

As she embarks on her latest chapter with Star Magic, Lovi is stepping into the future with greater confidence, determined to continue evolving as both an actress and a mother.
