The finale night drew massive online attention, and so did one of its hosts.
Short clips circulating across social media showed Mavy Legaspi speaking in an unusual rhythm during a livestream segment, prompting humorous reactions from viewers. Many compared the pacing of his delivery to that of game announcers, quickly turning the moment into a trending topic online.
Soon after, the host addressed the situation and clarified what happened behind the scenes. According to him, a technical issue affected the live broadcast.
“To my PBB Online-Verse family, thank you and congrats to us!
We experienced the worst microphone delay and could literally hear our voices echo in the venue which made it difficult to talk.
I would like to apologize if I sounded slow at times during our online live session on YouTube & Facebook — We did our best even if it was really difficult because of the sound delay. Thank you for being patient with us!”
Rather than ignoring the viral reactions, he later responded after seeing the clips online.
“OMG cringe nga! Anyway, thank you for supporting PBB Collab 2.0. It was a very successful night. Congrats Caprice & Lella! Love you all!”
Following his explanation, some viewers expressed understanding, citing the challenges of live broadcasts. The incident highlighted the technical difficulties that can arise during live events.
