“Ako ang nauna. Kasi after ng comedy bar [sabi ko], ‘Saan ako pupunta? Baka hindi ako makatulog?.’ May naghikayat sa akin. Sabi niya, ‘Ito, oh, para maaliw ka’ (I was the first. Because after comedy bar (I said), ‘where will I go? I might not be able to sleep.’ Somebody urged me. He said this is for you to be entertained),” Muah related.

Playing in the casino was fun for Muah who initially didn’t mind losing money.

“’Ah, konti lang ‘to. ‘Ah 50,000 kaya ‘tong bawiin sa isang jackpot lang. Ah, 100,000, kaya pa ‘to. Ah, 200,000 na natalo ko, ay 300 na, 500 na (Ah, this is just small. Ah, 50,000, I can recover it with just one jackpot. Ah, 100,000, it’s still carry. Ah, I lost 200,000, ah, 300,000 already, it’s 500,00 already),” he shared.

Muah said the biggest money he lost to casino gambling was P800,000.

Lassy, feeling left out always, decided to go with Muah in the casino where he experienced “beginner’s luck.” With that, he too, became addicted to casino gambling.

Muah tried to stop Lassy but he insisted.

“Sabi niya, ‘Hindi may control ako, MC.’ Sabi ko, ‘Hindi. Lahat ng [nagsusugal] wala ng magiging control. Minsan wala kaming tulog pumapasok kami sa comedy bar. Nagti-taping shooting kami, walang tulog. Ganu’n kami ka-ad*k sa pagsusugal noon (He said, ‘No, I have control MC.’ I said, ‘No. All gamblers will  have no control. Sometimes we lack sleep and we entered a comedy bar. We’re taping, we’re shooting, we don’t have sleep. That’s how addicted we were in gambling then).”

Playing in the casino since 2011 until 2016, Muah estimated he lost more than P10 million.

But all is a thing of the past now for Muah and Lassy who have since avoided going in casinos. They have now reached financial freedom.
