Netizens clap back at Darryl Yap

Director Darryl Yap was furious at Sarsi Emmanuel who commented about the Pepsi Paloma movie he’s currently shooting.

“Napakaconvenient kasi dito kay Sarsi Emmanuelle na patay na ang pinag-uusapan. Kegimik yun o totoo? May nagawa ka ba? Bakit? Close ba kayo ni Pepsi? Nung namatay siya saka kayo sumikat! WAG MO KO PALALABASING SINUNGALING. Hintayin mo ang pelikula (It’s convenient for Sarsi Emmanuel that a dead is being talked about. Whether it’s a gimmick or truth? Have you done anything? Why? Are you close to Pepsi? After her death that’s the only time you got popular! DON’T MAKE ME LOOK LIKE A LIAR. Wait for the movie).”

That was Yap’s rant against the former softdrink beauty who caught the ire of the controversial director when she posted this message on social media: “At sino ang nag-relay ng story sa director? Dba patay na yung tao? Siya lang ang may alam ng totoo. Saan nila kinuha yung story? (And who relayed the story to the director? The person is dead, right? She’s the only one who knows the truth. Where did they get the story?).”

With this, netizens clapped back at Yap.

“bkit Daryl? andun kba nung nga panahon na un? e si Sarsi ksama nya nun.sino mas kapanipaniwala? (Why Darryl, we’re you there during those time? Sarsi was with her then. Who is more believable?).”

“He only makes controversial movies to make himself relevant. To make himself the center of it all. And it looks like he’s succeeding.”

“Mas maniniwala ako kay Sarsi dahil siya nakasama ni Pepsi (I will believe Sarsi more because she was with Pepsi).”

Reacting on Yap’s rant against her, Emmanuel, in her Facebook live Saturday, 4 January, answered one of her followers about the director’s aria against her.

“Marami siyang bashers. Bakit ako lang ang in-screenshot niya? (He has so many bashers. Why did he make a screenshot of me only?),” Emmanuel said.

In the end, Emmanuel said there’s so many ways of promoting a movie.

Why Vice Ganda believes P500 ‘ayuda’ is not enough

It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda has made an appeal to public servants to at least alleviate the sorry state of their poor constituents especially in the health care department.

Vice Ganda specifically made the appeal when a “And the breadwinner is… ” contestant shared the medical experience of his family member.

“Natutuwa ako napag-usapan natin yung universal health care.’ Di ba? At nanawagan kami sa mga namumuno sa atin… sa mga mayor, sa mga gobernador, sa Kongreso. Hindi po sapat na binibigyan natin sila ng TUPAD at AKAP (I’m happy that we get to talk about universal health care. Righ? And we’re calling the attention of our leaders... to the mayor, governor, in Congress. It’s not enough that we give them TUPAD and AKAP),” Vice Ganda said.

“Hindi sapat na binibigyan natin sila ng pera tuwing nangangampanya kayo o tuwing Pasko (It’s not enough that we them money during campaign or Christmas),” she said.

Vice Ganda believes that there is a need to build hospital facilities and buy medical equipment to address the growing concern for universal health care.

“Hindi sapat po ang P500 na ayuda tuwing makikita kayo (It’s not enough the P500 you give when you see them),” she said.
