UNESCO Global Geopark
Bohol has been designated as the Philippines’ first and only UNESCO Global Geopark, adding to its tourism appeal alongside Panglao’s beaches, the Chocolate Hills and the province’s cultural and nature attractions.
BPIA is currently the country’s 10th-busiest airport, highlighting its role in supporting tourism and passenger movement into the province.
