Miss Universe 2025 Fátima Bosch is using her voice to deliver a firm message about dignity, courage and the right of women to stand up for themselves without fear of retaliation.

Months after an incident that drew international attention, Bosch reflected on its continuing repercussions and said she remains steadfast in her decision to defend herself.

“Today, it is my turn to tell this story; my wish is that tomorrow, no woman will ever have to live through it,” Bosch said.

The beauty queen expressed concern that women can still encounter intimidation simply for speaking up, establishing personal boundaries and demanding respectful treatment.

For Bosch, remaining silent was never an option.

“I do not regret defending my place that day,” she declared.

“The whole world saw what happened that day. Everything was recorded. There is nothing more to say,” she added.
