A 19-year-old man wanted for violation of Child Protection Law was apprehended on Sunday evening during a targeted tracker operation at his residence in Barangay CAA, Las Piñas City.
The accused was taken into custody by virtue of an active judicial warrant for violating Republic Act 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act).
The arrest transpired around 10:10 p.m. at a residential address along Sapphire Extension. Acting on verified court directives, a tactical team deployed to the location to execute the judicial order against the tracking target.
The accused was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Mildred Jacinto Marquez of Las Piñas City Family Court Branch 2, Las Piñas City, with a recommended bail bond of P80,000.
The arrested individual was identified as alias Jovanie, a resident of Barangay CAA, Las Piñas City.
He is currently detained at the station custodial facility in Barangay Pamplona Tres, pending the official return of the warrant and the subsequent issuance of a commitment order by the court of origin.
