A most wanted person for sexual assault was arrested by police authorities in an intensified manhunt operation in Pasig City on Friday afternoon, 26 June.
On 26 June, at around 4:50 p.m., personnel of the Pasig City Police Station's Caniogan Police Sub-Station conducted a manhunt operation along Libra Street, Nagpayong, Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City, which resulted in the arrest of alias Michael, 47, a tricycle driver and resident of the said barangay.
The accused was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the Pasig City Family Court Branch 12 for sexual assault in relation to Section 5(B) of Republic Act No. 7610 with no bail recommended.
Pasig police chief P/Col. Hendrix Mangaldan commended the operating personnel for the successful implementation of the warrant of arrest.
