Pasay City police arrested three individuals, including a minor, during a buy-bust operation Wednesday night.
Police Chief Col. Joselito de Sesto identified the suspects as alias “Pogs,” alias “Vinze,” and a minor identified as alias “Kuys,” all residents of Cuyegkeng Street in Pasay City. They were apprehended around 11:35 p.m. along Roxas Boulevard.
Authorities said that alias “Kuys,” would be turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development for rehabilitation.
Confiscated during the operation were 38 disposable vape cartridges containing marijuana oil.
The suspects were taken to the Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group at Camp Bagong Diwa and face charges for violating Section 5 of Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
De Sesto said that the arrests were made following surveillance operations that confirmed the suspects’ involvement in selling illegal drugs in the area.
