Kris Aquino celebrates birthday and Valentine’s Day sans BF

When Kris Aquino celebrated her birthday and Valentine’s Day, her doctor-boyfriend Michael Padlan was conspicously absent.

The absence of Padlan was easily noticeable in the video Aquino posted on her Instagram Reels account, giving credence to what we wrote weeks back that they have gone on separate ways.

Aquino showed snaps of her two sons, Joshua and Bimby and some of her friends. She also showed a slew of her gifts, which included Care Bears stuffed toys, bouquets of flowers and Space Molly toy.

But there was no photo of Padlan in her post.

If rumors that reached us are to be believed, Aquino instigated the breakup and the separation was caused by trust issue.

Why KyleDrea fans got mad at Andrea Brillantes

KyleDrea fans got infuriated over rumors that Andrea Brillantes was recently spotted while on a date with San Beda’s Samuel  ‘Colossus’  Abuhijleh.

Rumors of late said that Brillantes was seen last Valentine’s Day with San Beda Red Lions’ Fil-Jordanian forward.

With this, KyleDrea fans were seething with anger. KyleDrea is the portmanteau for Kyle Echarri and Andrea Brillantes.

Fans were shipping the two to end up romantically together since they first worked together in Kadenang Ginto and Senior High later.

 To parry off the negative impact of Brillantes’ romantic date, a fandom, Brilliant Official, issued a statement to appease KyleDrea fans’ anger.

“Hi, fam! Let’s all take a moment to calm down and respect Blythe’s private life. She’s allowed to live her life and find happiness, just like anyone else. The hate she’s receiving is uncalled for, and we won’t stand by and tolerate any negativity towards her.

“We are also asking everyone to take down and stop spreading the video posted by a fan, as it was posted without Blythe’s consent. We ask that the privacy of the non-showbiz individual involved be respected as well. Sharing such content violates her privacy, and as fans, it’s our responsibility to protect her. Let’s continue to show love and support for our girl — she deserves nothing less. Spread kindness, not hate!,” the Brillants Official Admins wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Fil-Am beauties with substance

Three Fil-Am beauties from Reina Filipina North America are Valerie West, Pauline del Mundo and Amanda Russo. They are welcome additions as they compete in the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 pageant representing the Filipino-American community in the Tristate area.

All three are excited in giving their best shot at the pageant and experiencing new things as they set foot on their hometown after being away for so many years.

“I’m really excited to work on my  advocacy program, The PUSO Foundation — PUSO standing for Purposeful Unconditional Service to Others. They do international projects both for the US, the Philippines and five other countries doing small acts of kindness and speaks acts of kindness to inspire hope,” West, reigning Reina Filipina, said during a presentation at Red Dynasty Seafood Restaurant at Winford Hotel and Casino, 13 February.

Russo, Reina Filipina North America 2025 second runner-up, is looking forward to learning something new while in the  country. 

“I’m so excited to have this new perspective now that I’m back  here in the Philippines,” she said. “Every time I come back, I feel like there’s always something that I can learn, always something that I can improve on.”

For Del Mundo, being reunited with her relatives is something that she looks forward to.

“For me, other than the crown, I think what I look forward to the most is really making myself whole within this journey. One of the last six years I’ve been on this journey of finding myself  and I think this journey with Miss Universe Philippines will really give me a little bit more of the puzzle,” she said.
