As the lovers' quarrel between Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo went viral on social media, actor Jake Ejercito found himself in the spotlight with a Facebook post that sparked online buzz.
On Friday, Ejercito posted, "Wala akong feelings about it," followed by a peach emoji.
Many netizens speculated that the actor's post was a reaction to comments on Eigenmann's recent Instagram upload, where users expressed hopes for a rekindled romance between Eigenmann and Ejercito.
One comment read, "Baka meant to be talaga sila ni J?" while another added, "Sana c J is mature enough na to settle. Ito na yun!"
In response to the speculation, Ejercito clarified that his post had no connection to the online discussions about Eigenmann. To drive the point home, he shared a news article quoting Vice President Sara Duterte's now-famous line, “Wala akong feelings about it."
Adding a humorous twist, the actor commented, "God save the tsismosas," drawing laughter from his followers.
Ejercito and Eigenmann share a 13-year-old daughter, Ellie, and are known for successfully co-parenting her despite their past relationship.
