Four HBO Max titles offer very different takes on dressing — from sharp office tailoring to punk rebellion, retro glamor and understated mob luxury.
‘Call My Manager’
Judy Ann Santos’ Andrea Manuel knows how to command a room without saying much. Her wardrobe of structured suits in black, gray, and navy gives the character a polished, authoritative presence.
The look is easy to translate beyond the office: think clean tailoring, muted colors, and well-fitted separates. Meanwhile, Edu Manzano and RK Bagatsing take a more relaxed approach to executive dressing while keeping the same air of authority.

‘Supergirl’
Milly Alcock’s Kara Zor-El proves that superhero style does not have to end with a cape. Away from her iconic suit, Kara leans into a scruffy, rebellious wardrobe built around a tan-brown hooded trench, jeans, Miu Miu boots, and a Blondie shirt.
The result feels deliberately effortless—a little worn-in, a little punk, and far removed from polished influencer dressing. The trench coat, in particular, caught attention from shoppers after the film’s release.

‘Michael’
Antoine Fuqua’s Michael revisits Michael Jackson’s career through the clothes that helped define different chapters of his life. Jaafar Jackson portrays his uncle in the biopic, with costume designer Marci Rodgers recreating looks spanning the Jackson 5 era through Jackson’s solo career.
The film features recognizable pieces from the singer’s wardrobe, including the red “Thriller” jacket, the sparkling outfit associated with his “Billie Jean” performance, and the white suit and fedora from “Smooth Criminal.”
Michael premieres on 25 September.
‘MobLand’
The gangsters of MobLand prove that power dressing does not always have to announce itself. Pierce Brosnan and Tom Hardy’s characters lean into refined Anglo-Italian tailoring, while Helen Mirren’s Maeve Harrigan favors an almost exclusively black wardrobe.
