The organizers announced that the group’s Very Merry Party fan concert, originally scheduled for 8 August at the EVM Convention Center, will no longer push through due to “unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.”

In a statement, the organizers apologized to fans who had been looking forward to celebrating the milestone event with the K-pop girl group. They also confirmed that all purchased tickets will be fully refunded through Megatix, with refund instructions and the corresponding timeline to be sent directly to ticket holders via their registered email addresses.

The cancellation comes just weeks after Momoland announced its return to Manila as part of its 10th anniversary celebrations. The event would have marked the group’s first fan concert in the Philippines since resuming activities.

Momoland last visited the country in 2022 for a special event alongside AKMU and EVERGLOW. The group, which debuted in 2016, rose to massive popularity in the Philippines with hits such as “Bboom Bboom,” “Baam,” and “I’m So Hot.”

Furthermore, the organizers thanked Filipino Merries for their understanding and support, expressing hope that Momoland will have the opportunity to meet fans in Manila again in the future.
