Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez is giving fans one final gift as she prepares for what she calls her last major solo concert.
The veteran singer announced that the second day of her upcoming Finale concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on 18 October will be free for fans. The surprise announcement comes as she marks four decades in the music industry and bids farewell to large-scale solo concerts.
Regine clarified that stepping away from major concert productions does not mean she is retiring from singing. Instead, she said she simply wants to free herself from the pressures that come with mounting massive live shows.
Fans hoping to attend the free concert will need to go through a registration process. Pre-registration opens on 30 July at 6 p.m., with the full mechanics and ticket redemption details available through Regine’s official social media accounts.
The free second-night performance serves as a thank-you to the fans who have supported the OPM icon throughout her 40-year career, making her final major solo concert a celebration shared with the public.
