The Southern Police District (SPD) arrested a man facing charges under the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act in Parañaque City on Sunday afternoon.
Operatives of the Parañaque City Police Station's Warrant and Subpoena Section arrested alias Randy, 47, at about 1:34 p.m. along Bernabe Street, Airport Village, Barangay Moonwalk, Parañaque City.
The accused was apprehended by virtue of a warrant of arrest for violation of Section 5(a) of Republic Act No. 9262, otherwise known as the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004.
The warrant was issued on 11 May 2026, by the Parañaque City Family Court Branch 10, with bail recommended at P50,000.
The accused is currently detained at the Parañaque City Police Station custodial facility pending the return of the warrant to the issuing court.
