Bayambang Councilor Jan Nazer David "Boying Kulas" Junio, 25, died after a road accident in San Carlos City on Thursday night, 2 July.

Junio, the Presiding Officer Pro Tempore of the Sangguniang Bayan and chairman of the Committee on Education, figured in the crash at around 11 p.m. along the provincial road in Barangay Turac.

Authorities said the Toyota Avanza he was driving sustained extensive damage, while Junio suffered multiple injuries.

He was initially taken to the Pangasinan Provincial Hospital before being transferred to the Region 1 Medical Center, where he was later declared dead.
