Rina Andrea Delos Santos of Ballesteros, Cagayan emerged victorious at the Miss Philippines Earth 2026 coronation night, earning the coveted title during a glittering ceremony held at the Cultural Center in Malitbog, Bukidnon on Saturday.
Delos Santos outshone 31 other candidates in a competition that celebrated women committed to environmental stewardship under the theme “Love in Action.” Her consistent performance throughout the pageant culminated in a memorable victory that earned her the right to represent the Philippines on the international Miss Earth stage.
One of the defining moments of the evening came during the final question-and-answer round, where the finalists were asked how they would embody the responsibility that comes with wearing the crown. Drawing from her experience as a community tour guide, Delos Santos spoke passionately about promoting sustainable tourism and environmental responsibility, emphasizing that genuine love is reflected through meaningful action.
Earlier in the competition, she also received the Miss Hana special award, further strengthening her standing before the final announcement.
The coronation was hosted by James Deakin, while reigning Miss Earth 2025 Natálie Puškinová formally passed on the crown to her successor. The event also introduced the new Elemental Queens, who will work alongside the titleholder in advancing environmental awareness, sustainability, and eco-tourism initiatives.
Outgoing Miss Philippines Earth Joy Barcoma was absent from the traditional farewell walk. Instead, she attended the Love Laban Pride event in Quezon City on the same evening.
With the national crown now hers, Delos Santos begins preparations for the upcoming Miss Earth pageant, where she will aim to secure the Philippines’ fifth Miss Earth title.
