“I think a nice project. There have been offers but there hasn’t really been a script or a project that really excites me," Dawn Zulueta-Lagdameo answered when asked about what would make her return to showbiz.

Time for family

Dawn, who now enjoys life away from the limelight, shared during a media interview that she spends most of her time at home with family and occasionally joins the TikTok dances her daughter posts. She and Ayisha also revealed that they bond over K-pop, proudly calling themselves ARMY as fans of BTS, and are currently fangirling over Cortis and Enhypen.

At Uma Nota, Shangri-La, the faces who represented Marie France through the years gathered to mark the milestone. Dawn attended the event with her daughter, Ayisha.

A gathering of timeless beauties

Once known as the “it” slimming clinic of the early 2000s, Marie France has since evolved into a champion of empowerment — encouraging people of all shapes and forms to embrace confidence and become the best version of themselves.

On returning to showbiz and embracing change

Dawn shared that her return to Marie France felt natural because the brand has grown with the times. Now offering solutions for women who want to age gracefully, Marie France has expanded its services to support women through different life stages, including menopause. Dawn opened up about navigating symptoms many women in their 40s — and even late 30s — experience, such as hot flushes, mood swings, and a dip in self-confidence.

“Some women feel they can no longer get their old body back,” she said, noting how this can affect one’s mental well-being. Just as she once inspired with her iconic glow-up on the before-and-after EDSA billboard, she returns to show women that no matter their age, they can still look and feel their best — and even more — with Marie France.

A new generation joins the legacy

Ayisha has also officially joined the Marie France family. While some may wonder why someone her age would need guidance, this stage is often the ideal time to receive support — especially during growth spurts, peak puberty, and the onset of acne, when the body undergoes changes that can feel unfamiliar for teens and even those in their early 20s.
