Liza Soberano’s reunion project with exflame Enrique Gil will most likely not happen.

Soberano, in a recent interview, revealed that there’s a new project being negotiated that will feature her and Gil.

“We’re trying to come up with a concept we can do together in the future, and I can guarantee that it’s going to be in the next year or two because the concept that we’re coming up with needs to be fleshed out,” she said in a TV Patrol interview.

Soberano also expressed her willingness to do soap operas again and said she’s open to any character.

“I’m definitely open to doing a teleserye. I think it just comes down to the concept,” she said, noting that she wants to try “’different kinds of characters and genres.”

“I’m just looking for anything that excites me and is, like, kakaiba (different),” she said.

But Soberano’s chance to work with her ex-boyfriend Gil may not be happening soon as talks on X (formerly Twitter) said that the actor “turned down” the offer.

A certain Bea (@Demonia94804) on X claimed that “Liza offered Quen the collab last month, but he rejected it last week.  He doesn’t want anything to do with his cheating ex, @Lizasoberano, who is now living with her current boyfriend Jeffrey Oh in LA  Jeffrey will also serve as the CEO of her US production company.”

“Quen already rejected that collaboration offer, but Liza is still trying to contact him, hoping he will respond. The two meetings Liza mentioned were way back in December. She’s lying through her teeth, as she always does,” the Twitter handler added.

Later, it was also revealed that “Liza has gifts from the US for the Gils, but none of them are keeping in touch with her. She’s even asking the squad to help deliver the gifts, but they don’t want to get caught in the crossfire.”

Any comment, Ms. Soberano?

Not auto-tuned

Kapamilya actress Maymay Entrata found herself defending her recent performance on It’s Showtime in response to a netizen who claimed she was in auto-tune mode when she guested in the noontime show.

“Hi po ma’am. Hindi po naka autotune yan, may mga flats pa nga po ako eh.. hihi (It’s not autotuned. I have flats). Sorry If I wasn’t good enough sa inyo. I’ll do better,” Entrata replied to a basher.

One fan defended the Kapamilya actress and said: “Ok lang mahal ignore nlang iba kc idol nya kaya xa nakapagsalita ng ganon, kami mahal ka nmin kht ano mangyari tanggap ka nmin kht anong pagkakamali pa magawa mo, support ka nmin sa lahat ng gagawin mo, labyu mahal q, te amo (It’s okay love, just ignore, her idol is different that’s why she can say that. We love you no matter what. We accept you no matter what mistake you’ve done. We support you in everything you’ll do. I love you).”

Not just a show

Baron Geisler’s alcoholic character in Incognito was an eye-opener for many televiewers.

As his character, Miguel Tecson, Geisler played his role with a cool breeze. Just like his character, Geisler acknowledged he was once hooked on alcohol.

One scene in Incognito shows Geisler’s character sneaking in his room to drink alcohol, which brought one viewer to tears.

“I legit teared up nung nilabas niya yung alak. It’s like, ‘I knew it. All that progress, Miguel. All down the drain,’” said one fan.

“Addiction is a tough battle, but recovery is possible. Relapse doesn’t erase progress — it’s just a detour, not the end. #Incognito is more than a show; it’s a platform to shed light on real struggles and give hope. Keep fighting. You are not alone,” came Geisler’s reply.
