Veteran actor and Eat Bulaga host Vic Sotto is set to file complaints against filmmaker Darryl Yap.
The controversy arose after Yap produced, wrote, directed, and released a teaser for his movie The R*pist of Pepsi Paloma on his social media platforms, naming Sotto in connection with the controversial case.
According to a news update from TV5, where Eat Bulaga now airs, Sotto and his legal counsel are scheduled to file the complaint at the Muntinlupa City Regional Trial Court on 9 January.
Further details about the legal action and the accusations surrounding the teaser are yet to be revealed. This development comes amid heightened attention on the long-standing controversies involving Pepsi Paloma’s case.
Paloma was found lifeless inside her apartment in an apparent suicide in 1985.
