The Palawan Police Provincial Office (PalPPO) took part in an active shooter simulation exercise at the College of Criminal Justice Education building of Palawan State University’s Puerto Princesa City campus.

Facilitated by the U.S. Embassy’s Naval Criminal Investigative Service, the practical exercise aimed to strengthen police personnel’s tactical knowledge, response skills and readiness for active shooter incidents and other critical situations.

Personnel from the 1st and 2nd Palawan Provincial Mobile Force Companies also participated in the training, which focused on responding to high-risk situations through swift action, sound judgment and coordination.

Provincial Director PCOL Joel D. Casupanan said that the exercise supports its efforts to improve police capabilities and inter-agency cooperation, as well as to ensure an effective response to threats to public safety.
