Pag-IBIG, Robinsons Land team up

Robinsons Land Corp. has joined Pag-IBIG Fund’s growing roster of developer partners offering homes to Filipino workers through the Pag-IBIG Housing Loan under President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (Expanded 4PH) Program.
The partnership was formalized as the country celebrates National Shelter Month, with the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), Pag-IBIG Fund and private developers working to expand access to affordable homeownership.
DHSUD Secretary and Pag-IBIG Fund Board chairman Jose Ramon P. Aliling said the participation of major developers would give more Filipino families access to homes within their means.
“President Marcos has directed us to do all that is necessary to bring homeownership within reach of more Filipino families under Expanded 4PH. We are seeing this direction bear fruit as more leading developers join our efforts, giving Filipino workers more homes to choose from and more opportunities to find one they can afford,” Aliling said.
“Robinsons Land’s participation builds on these gains and strengthens our resolve to sustain them. Together, government and our private-sector partners are turning our shared commitment into concrete opportunities for more Filipinos to own a home,” he added.
In June, Pag-IBIG Fund raised its maximum housing loan amount to P10 million and urged private developers to offer preferential pricing to make homes more affordable.
Pag-IBIG is also offering promotional housing loan rates of 4.5 percent annually for loans of up to P4.9 million and 5.75 percent for loans above P4.9 million up to P10 million. The rates are fixed for the first three years, with the promotional offer available until the end of 2026.
Robinsons Land president and CEO Mybelle V. Aragon-GoBio said the partnership would combine Pag-IBIG’s financing options with RLC Residences’ portfolio of homes.
“By bringing together Pag-IBIG’s housing financing solutions and RLC Residences’ diverse portfolio of homes, we hope to make homeownership more accessible to more Filipino families and bring them closer to finding a place they can truly call their own,” Aragon-GoBio said.
Under the memorandum of understanding, qualified Pag-IBIG members may access participating Robinsons Land properties, including ready-for-occupancy units, with preferential pricing and buyer incentives subject to availability and specific terms. Housing fairs, home-matching activities and member briefings will also be conducted.
Pag-IBIG Fund CEO Marilene C. Acosta said the partnership would help match affordable homes with financing that members can afford.
“Through our partnership with Robinsons Land, we are bringing together its preferential pricing and buyer incentives with our affordable Pag-IBIG Housing Loans,” Acosta said.
“Lower monthly payments help families sustain their housing loan repayments while leaving more room in their budget for other necessities, savings and plans for the future,” she added.
Acosta and Aragon-GoBio signed the memorandum of understanding on 5 October in Pasig City, witnessed by Aliling and other officials from DHSUD, Pag-IBIG Fund and Robinsons Land.
