The truth behind one of the world’s biggest social media controversies takes center stage in The Social Reckoning, the companion film to the 2010 hit The Social Network, arriving in Philippine cinemas on 7 October.

Written and directed by Aaron Sorkin, the film is inspired by the real-life events surrounding “The Facebook Files” and the whistleblower who sparked a global conversation about the impact of social media.

Jeremy Strong stars as Mark Zuckerberg, while Mikey Madison portrays Facebook engineer Frances Haugen, who teams up with Wall Street Journal reporter Jeff Horwitz, played by Jeremy Allen White, in a high-stakes journey to reveal the platform’s hidden secrets.

The film also features Wunmi Mosaku, Betty Gilpin, Billy Magnussen, and Bill Burr, bringing to life a modern David-and-Goliath story about technology, accountability and the search for truth.
