    • PAL Ultimate Seat Sale

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is cutting fares across domestic and international routes for one week as the flag carrier rolls out another promotion aimed at stimulating travel demand.

PAL said its Ultimate Seat Sale will run from 24 to 30 August, giving travelers access to discounted fares across its network.

    Details released on Monday

The airline has yet to disclose the promotional fares and corresponding travel periods, with full details set to be released when the sale begins on Monday.

Beyond lower fares, PAL said it will unveil additional opportunities for savings and other offers online throughout the seven-day booking period.

    Discounted fares

The promotion comes as airlines continue to use discounted fares to encourage passengers to book trips in advance.

PAL has rolled out several seat sales this year, including a three-day promotion in June that offered discounts of up to 50 percent on domestic fares and 40 percent on international round-trip Economy base fares.

    Installment payment

For eligible domestic bookings under the upcoming sale, PAL will also continue to offer installment payment options through participating credit card partners, allowing travelers to spread out the cost of their tickets.

PAL currently flies from its hubs in Manila, Cebu, Clark and Davao, serving destinations in the Philippines as well as markets across Asia, North America, Australia and the Middle East.

The flag carrier said travelers may monitor its website, mobile application and official social media pages for the fares, travel periods and other deals once the Ultimate Seat Sale opens.
