TikTok has partnered with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) to launch a special edition of TikTok Content Camp, equipping Filipinos with practical digital skills in content creation, livestreaming and social commerce.
The initiative aims to help aspiring entrepreneurs, jobseekers and content creators tap new income opportunities as the country’s digital economy continues to grow.
Participants received hands-on training in CapCut video editing, TikTok content creation, TikTok LIVE, audience engagement and monetization, as well as best practices for TikTok Shop Creator Affiliates.
TikTok said the program supports the government’s push to strengthen digital skills and prepare Filipinos for emerging opportunities in the online economy.
“Our collaboration with TESDA brings practical, industry-relevant training to more learners and empowers them to build sustainable livelihoods,” said Yves Gonzalez, TikTok’s head of Public Policy for the Philippines.
TESDA said the program complements technical training by introducing learners to digital entrepreneurship and the growing creator economy.
