Filipino families are increasingly turning to digital technology to transform ordinary living rooms and small function spaces into venues for birthdays, weddings and other celebrations.
From video montages and virtual family reunions to gaming sessions and movie nights, projectors are becoming an option for families looking to create personalized experiences without elaborate audiovisual setups.
Epson is positioning its CO-FH02 Smart Projector as a portable entertainment device for these occasions.
The projector delivers Full HD 1080p resolution and 3,000 lumens of color and white brightness using Epson’s 3LCD technology.
It can display images measuring up to 391 inches diagonally, depending on the available space and projection distance.
At 2.6 kilograms, the device can be moved between living rooms, condominium function halls and other suitable indoor venues.
For weddings and milestone birthdays, families can use the projector to display photographs, video presentations and messages from relatives unable to attend in person.
It can also connect to gaming consoles for multiplayer entertainment or provide a larger screen for family movie nights and sporting events.
The CO-FH02 comes with an Android TV dongle and supports Chromecast and Bluetooth audio, allowing users to stream content and connect compatible audio devices.
Beyond special occasions, Epson said the projector can serve as an everyday home entertainment device, offering families a reusable alternative to event-specific audiovisual equipment.
