A foreign-looking guy is said to be the real boyfriend of Belle Mariano.

Some netizens believe that the guy with the Instagram handle @don_fuga is Mariano's boyfriend. The two were following each other on the said social media platform and netizens noticed they were following and unfollowing each other a couple of times. Many believed that they did it when they had LQ (lover's quarrel) moments.

But a member of Mariano's glam team, @adrianneconcept, in an Instagram Story, belied the rumor: "Ang daming fake news ah (There's so many fake news). Please be more discerning when reading online gossip. Many of these trolls are launching smear campaigns, running false stories to sway public opinion. I am not in the position to speak for my girls but collectively, all I can say is... FAKE NEWS."

Mariano has yet to issue a statement regarding the issue.

We searched for the guy on Instagram but his account was private. But we saw that he indeed follows Mariano on said social media platform.

Why McCoy, Aaron, Mon are proud of their roles in 'Ang Mamatay Nang Dahil Sa 'Yo'

With a glint of collective happiness in their eyes, McCoy de Leon, Aaron Villaflor and Mon Confiado shared why they were so proud in taking roles of soldiers guarding maritime territory in Ang Mamatay Nang Dahil Sa 'Yo, a movie produced by A Great Czar Productions and FLIP The Script Productions.

"For me as an actor, it's a once-in-a-lifetime role. If I can share it with my grandchildren that would be great," De Leon said in the movie's cast reveal Friday, 31 July.

For Confiado, the challenges to hurdle are many as the role of a soldier is something he could very well sink his teeth into.

"This is not a film where you will see typical soldiers because they were in the middle of the sea. They have no time to cut hair, to shave or take a bath. They can take a bath only when it rains, otherwise, they can take a bath at the sea. This is what they will go through and this is what the audience will see. It's very challenging for us," Confiado said.

"It's very inspiring. It's both a privilege and an honor for us to portray each character. People are asking what's really happening there. Many of our soldiers were left there, unnoticed. On behalf of the Filipino people, it's a privilege for all of us to showcase this movie and have it seen by many Filipinos. We have to show the beauty of what is ours, and we have to take care of it and protect it," Villaflor said.

"There is a lot of information we will be revealing in the story," Cesar Soriano, producer of the film, said.

"There are many reports like the submarines reported by the military which just enter our territory. There are drones hovering around our military installations. There were reports of much spying," he added.

With all these, Soriano said: "We cannot afford to keep quiet. We have to let people know that this is happening."

Still, Soriano insisted: "We are not at war. We do not want war but at least we want you to know what's happening through these revelations. We have to understand that we should have one stand."

For Philip King, the film's director, the sacrifices our soldiers experience are beyond compare.

"They are giving up their lives. For six months they are not connected with their families. Hopefully, it can inspire support. We can see them as heroes that they are," King said.

The film, King said, is thought-provoking.

"It will not say something. It will make you feel something. It will make you feel it," she succinctly stressed.
