The inaugural Reina Filipinas 2026 pageant has moved its official candidate presentation after organizers announced the postponement of “The Grand Reveal: Welcome All the Reinas & Sashing Ceremony” due to the expected landfall of a super typhoon.
In a statement posted on the pageant’s official Facebook page, the organization said the event, originally set for 8 July, will now take place on 13 July, citing the safety of everyone involved as its highest priority.
“Safety comes first. In light of the anticipated landfall of a super typhoon and with the safety of our candidates, guests, partners, and everyone involved as our top priority, The Grand Reveal: Welcome All the Reinas & Sashing Ceremony has been rescheduled.”
The pageant added that it looks forward to officially introducing its pioneering batch of Reina Filipinas 2026 candidates on the new date, inviting supporters to witness what it described as “the beginning of something GRAND.”
