Andrea Brillantes reveals how faith in God helped her overcome controversies

“Ang nagpatibay sa akin iyong faith ko. Kasi sa dami po ng nangyari at sa paulit-ulit na binabato ng mga tao sa akin medyo nawalan na ako ng choice kundi ang maghanap ng masasandalan,” Andrea shared.
The actress admitted that there came a point when the weight of public judgment left her searching for something greater than herself to hold on to.
“Nung panahong iyon naisip ko, saan pa ba ako kakapit? So there was no other way kundi ibigay na lang lahat sa Diyos at kumapit na lang talaga ako sa Kanya. Nagtiwala na lang ako sa Kanya,” she continued.
For Andrea, surrendering her worries to God became a turning point in how she approached life's uncertainties and the pressures that come with being a public figure.
She also acknowledged that there are moments when her own strength is not enough, but her faith gives her the courage to keep moving forward.
“Kasi kapag hindi ako malakas, alam kong malakas Siya para sa akin,” she said.
