Sugatan ang isang senior citizen matapos malaglag sa creek ang minamanehong SUV sa bahagi ng Araneta Avenue sa Barangay Manresa, Quezon City pasado alas-siete ng gabi, 4 July 2026.
Agad rumesponde sa insidente ang mga tauhan ng Quezon City Ambulance, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), Philippine National Police (PNP) at Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
Ayon sa mga rumespondeng awtoridad, mag-u-u-turn dapat ito, nang napa-angat at nahulog sa isang bahagi ng creek na walang harang. Mali umano ang nilikuan nito.
Kaagad namang nailabas ng mga awtoridad ang senior citizen na driver na isinugod sa ospital. Patuloy naman ang pag-alis sa nahulog na SUV sa naturang creek.
Samantala, ayon sa MMDA, positibo sa impluwensya ng alak ang driver ng SUV.
