Heath Jornales on Caprice Cayetano: Respect, reality & CapHeath’s future

Fresh off his standout finish as Kapuso 2nd Big Placer in Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0, Heath Jornales is embracing everything that comes with life after the Big Brother house—including fan-driven pairings and evolving dynamics with fellow housemates.

Among the most talked-about is his connection with Kapuso Big Winner Caprice Cayetano, fondly dubbed by fans as “CapHeath.” But while the pairing quickly gained traction, Heath is approaching it with clarity, maturity, and respect—especially following Caprice’s earlier statement about wanting to pursue her career independently.

When asked about her preference to go solo in showbiz, Heath had nothing but support.

“I respect Caprice’s choice po na gusto niya maging solo, and ayun, I’m totally fine with that po. And I’m really proud of her po sa nagawa niya at sa na-build niya po. I’m really happy for her. It’s fine na maging solo po siya, maging solo rin po ako. Ayun po. I’m just really happy sa lahat po ng nangyari. And it depends po sa plans po ng management or like ng GMA po.”

Still, Heath made it clear that he remains open to whatever direction his career may take—even if that includes continuing their on-screen pairing.

“I’m fine naman po with anything. I’m open naman po.”

Inside the PBB house, however, their dynamic was far from romantic. In fact, Caprice’s view of Heath as a “little brother” stemmed from how he naturally fit into the group.

“Kasi po ako yung pinakabunso sa bahay. So pagpasok ko po doon, ayun na po tingin ng lahat sa akin. Matic na po ’yun, kasi ako yung 16 years old. Everyone is 17 na, late 17 years old pataas na po, kaya little brother po talaga tingin nila. Lalo na po yung galawan ko doon sa bahay. Para talaga akong bata na sobrang mahiyain sa una, tapos sa dulo ang kulit ko naman. Kaya parang little brother po talaga yung tingin sa akin ng lahat.”

Despite this, fans were quick to interpret Caprice’s earlier remarks as a possible end to “CapHeath.” Heath, however, sees it differently.

“I don’t think naman na tinapos niya po. Pero we’re all friends naman po sa bahay, and it’s nothing crazy naman. Wala naman pong nangyayari. We’re all just chilling po, and I guess nagulat rin po kaming dalawa na meron pong ganoong ship po sa amin. Pero anything that happens naman po, I’m G naman po.”

Off-camera, he assured that there’s no awkwardness between them, emphasizing that their bond remains intact.

“Hindi po. Wala naman pong ilangan po.”

As the dust settles after PBB Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0, Heath Jornales is stepping into the next phase of his career with openness—whether that means solo projects or potential collaborations. For now, what matters most is the genuine connection he shares with his fellow housemates and the gratitude he carries for the journey that brought him here.
