An unexploded hand grenade was found in a creek in Brgy. Colo, Dinalupihan, Bataan on 20 February 2026.
According to the Bataan Police Provincial Office, the ordnance was discovered by a 33-year-old male resident.
The Dinalupihan Municipal Police Station, in coordination with the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Unit, immediately responded after the report of one MK2 fragmentation high-explosive hand grenade with fuse.
The area has now been declared secure. The Bataan PNP reminded the public to report any suspicious or potentially hazardous items immediately and to avoid handling them to ensure safety.
