Coco Martin announced that he and partner Julia Montes are starring in a new light action-drama series, "Sigabo,” which will replace "Batang Quiapo" starting 16 March.
“Naghihintay ako ng right project para sa pagsasama namin ni Julia. Si Juls ngayon, pukpukan ang training. Nag-aaral siya ngayon ng sa baril, ng fight, sa motor. Inakma namin ‘yung kwento na talagang fit para sa amin, sa estado namin ngayon. First time namin magla-light. Pasasayahin naman natin ‘yung mga tahanan gabi-gabi,” Martin said on “TV Patrol” Friday, 20 February. (I was waiting for the right project with Julia. Juls is now into rigorous training. She is learning about guns, fight scenes, and motorcycling. We really fit the story about us, in our state right now. It's our first time to do a light project. We will make homes happy this time).
The series, according to Martin, is "episodic" as it features different stories and missions. It also features different comedians each week.
“Ang Huling Laban ni Tanggol” finale episode of “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” will be aired on 13 March on Kapamilya Channel on ALLTV2.
