BMW Philippines has introduced the BMW X1 xDrive25e M Sport, expanding its plug-in hybrid offerings in the local market. The compact SUV is priced at P3,998,000 and will be available in limited introductory units.

The X1 xDrive25e combines a turbocharged gasoline engine and an electric motor. Total system output is rated at 245 horsepower and 477 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. That gives the vehicle the kind of performance expected from the brand, while adding an electric option for daily use.

BMW says the plug-in hybrid system allows up to 101 kilometers of electric-only driving under standard conditions. Drivers who complete short city trips may find that they can rely mostly on battery power.

When the battery charge runs low, the gasoline engine takes over. With both power sources working together, the total driving range can reach up to 764 kilometers.

The model is part of BMW’s broader electrified lineup in the Philippines. Buyers can choose between traditional combustion engines and hybrid options, depending on their driving needs and charging access.

The M Sport trim gives the X1 a sharper look. It comes with the M Aerodynamics package, high gloss Shadowline trim, and M light alloy wheels. The styling changes are subtle but noticeable, especially at the front and side profile.

The dashboard features BMW’s curved Widescreen Display running on iDrive Operating System 9. The digital instrument cluster and infotainment screen sit within one continuous panel. Most vehicle functions are accessed through the display, supported by physical controls where needed.

The X1 xDrive25e also includes BMW ConnectedDrive. An integrated data SIM enables BMW Live Maps with real-time traffic information and route guidance. The feature supports daily navigation and helps drivers manage routes more efficiently.

Cabin materials include M Alcantara and Veganza upholstery, along with sport seats. A Harman Kardon sound system is part of the standard equipment list, adding to the premium feel inside the cabin.

BMW Philippines is offering the model in six colors. These include Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Space Silver Metallic, M Portimão Blue Metallic, Cape York Green Metallic and Fire Red Metallic.
