The F.C.C. Honda Pilipinas Dream Cup concluded its 2026 season at Tarlac Circuit Hill, with 12 young riders competing in the fifth and final round of the motorcycle racing series.

The two-day event brought another round of competition aboard the Honda CBR150R, as participants put their skills to the test after several months of racing.

Renzzy Vigo, who raced under number 12, delivered a strong qualifying performance before taking victory in Race 1. Ace Esguerra, aboard the number 14 motorcycle, won Race 2 to complete the final weekend.

Vigo eventually secured the overall championship after a consistent performance throughout the five-round season.

Melchy Ngo finished second in the championship standings, followed by James Galvez in third. Esguerra placed fourth overall, while Zildjian Blanco completed the top five.

The final round gave the young racers another opportunity to apply what they had learned during the season. Riders had to manage their pace and make quick decisions on the circuit, particularly during close competition.

The Dream Cup serves as a rider development program under Honda Philippines Inc. It provides young motorcycle racers with opportunities to gain actual race experience and improve their technical abilities.

Participants use the Honda CBR150R throughout the competition, which allows them to develop their riding skills on the same motorcycle platform.

Apart from race results, the program places importance on discipline and the ability to improve through repeated competition. Each round presents different challenges that help riders understand motorcycle handling and race strategy.

The fifth round also allowed participants to assess their progress since the start of the championship. While Vigo finished the season with the overall title, the remaining riders gained further experience that could help them pursue motorcycle racing at a higher level.

Honda Philippines said the Dream Cup continues to support the development of young racing talent in the country through organized competition.
