The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines announced Friday, 6 February, the temporary closure of Runway 07/25 at Camiguin Airport due to flooding caused by the overflow of an adjacent creek amid Tropical Storm Basyang.
CAAP said the notice to airmen is effective from 9:52 a.m. on 6 February until 4 p.m. on 7 February.
As a result, Cebu Pacific flights DG6695 and DG6696 were canceled, affecting 67 passengers.
CAAP advised passengers to coordinate with their respective airlines for updates on flight schedules and urged the public to prioritize safety in travel plans.
