

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines on Friday said it is closely monitoring airport operations nationwide amid flight disruptions caused by Tropical Storm #BasyangPH.
CAAP said all affected airports remain operational, including those in Surigao, Puerto Princesa, Camiguin, Ozamiz, Tacloban, Calbayog, Catarman, Borongan, Ormoc, Maasin, Hilongos, Catbalogan, Guiuan, Siargao, Butuan, Bislig, Tandag, Iligan, and Pagadian.
The agency reported no damage to airport facilities, adding that water and power supply at passenger terminal buildings remain fully available. Airport personnel are on standby to respond to any emergencies.
However, several flights were canceled due to the storm, affecting operations of Cebgo, Cebu Pacific Air, and PAL Express.

CAAP advised passengers to coordinate directly with their respective airlines for updates on flight schedules and to prioritize safety when traveling.
A total of 7,737 passengers have been affected by flight cancellations since Thursday, 5 February, due to the weather disturbance.
