Volvo Cars Philippines is putting the spotlight on the Volvo EX30 with a public mall display at SM Aura, running until 7 January 2026.
The EX30 is Volvo’s smallest fully electric SUV to date and forms part of the brand’s broader shift toward electrification.
Designed as a compact urban vehicle, it brings together electric performance, safety systems, and digital features in a size aimed at city use and daily driving.
The model is built on a fully electric platform and is positioned as a practical option for drivers looking to transition away from internal combustion vehicles.
Volvo lists a driving range of up to 540 kilometers depending on specification and conditions, with DC fast charging capable of replenishing the battery from 10 to 80 percent in under 30 minutes.
Acceleration from zero to 100 kilometers per hour is rated at 5.3 seconds for the extended-range version.
The EX30 follows a simplified layout centered on a 12.3-inch touchscreen that handles driving information and vehicle controls. Google-based navigation and services are integrated, alongside over-the-air software updates.
The cabin also uses recycled and renewable materials, aligning with Volvo’s goal of reducing lifecycle emissions.
Safety remains a core focus, with features such as pilot assist, lane keeping aid, blind spot monitoring, and door opening alert designed to help prevent common urban driving incidents.
The mall display allows visitors to view the EX30 up close and learn more about its features and specifications ahead of its wider rollout in the local market.
