Senator Christopher “Bong” Go provided assistance to residents affected by a fire in Barangay Milagrosa, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, on Saturday, 13 December.
Go met with families impacted by the incident and discussed ongoing support for communities affected by disasters.
During the visit, he cited Republic Act No. 12076, the Ligtas Pinoy Centers Act, which mandates the establishment of permanent, safe, and fully equipped evacuation centers in all cities and municipalities nationwide. He emphasized the importance of implementing these centers as part of disaster preparedness efforts.
