DINALUPIHAN, Bataan – Authorities are still conducting search, rescue, and retrieval operations for three missing individuals believed to have been swept away at the Dinalupihan Dam on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Dinalupihan Traffic and Public Safety Office (TPSO), the search area spans from Barangay Torres to Barangay Tabacan.
The TPSO is coordinating with the local government unit, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and volunteer rescuers.
As of Sunday night, the victims had not yet been found, and operations are ongoing.
The local government is urging the public to remain cautious this rainy season and avoid rivers and dams to prevent similar incidents.
