CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — The body of Slovevian national who was reported missing was found in early stage of decomposition inside his rented apartment in Lovella Hill, Barangay Macasandig Tuesday evening.
Police identified the victim as Marjonovic Marko, 40, Slovenian national who was a temporary resident and living alone in an apartment in Barangay Macasandig.
Investigation showed that the victim, who has been in this city on a business trip, was in constant contact with his friends in Cebu City where he was also temporary resident.
His last contact with his friends in Cebu was last 15 July when he was no longer answering his phone. The friends sought police assistance, and police went to his apartment Tuesday evening and found out that the victim had not been seen in the area since last week.
