‘Drag Race Philippines’ Season 4 celebrates Filipino drag excellence and the spirit of giving

The colorful world of Filipino drag takes on a deeper meaning as Drag Race Philippines returns for its fourth season, with Sendwave joining the celebration to honor not only the queens competing for the crown but also overseas Filipinos who continue to support their loved ones back home.
Premiered last September 25, 2026, and streaming globally on WOW Presents Plus, the latest season embraces the marine-inspired theme “Marine Bayot—Diversity,” highlighting the creativity, individuality, and resilience of Filipino drag performers.
Building on the success of its previous seasons and Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale, the competition brings together a new generation of queens determined to showcase their talents on the international stage.
Returning to lead the show is Paolo Ballesteros, alongside main judges KaladKaren, Rajo Laurel, Jon Santos, and BJ Pascual.
Among the featured queens are Valeria, Andy Crocker, Bombalicious Elover, Dixie Decoy, Katana, Bhorj Gum, Galigash, Manza, and Taylor, each bringing a distinct personality, performance style, and personal journey to the competition.
The season also carries an emotional tribute to Misua, the beloved drag artist from Cagayan de Oro who passed away at 27 during production in April 2026. Her passing temporarily halted filming, and the season has since been dedicated to her memory, recognizing her contributions to the Filipino drag community.
Beyond the glamour, elaborate costumes, and fierce runway performances, the season also puts the spotlight on the importance of family, sacrifice, and financial support.
As a Gold Season Sponsor and Official Padala Partner, Sendwave is using its partnership with the reality competition to recognize the millions of overseas Filipino workers whose sacrifices help sustain their families in the Philippines.
For the international money transfer service, the connection between drag performers pursuing their dreams and Filipinos working abroad goes beyond entertainment.
Both represent determination, perseverance, and the desire to create better opportunities for themselves and the people they love.
“At Sendwave, we’re intentional about being in our customers’ corner. That means not only showing up in spaces like Drag Race Philippines, where we know our communities are watching, but extending that support to the queens themselves — many of whom are breadwinners chasing their own dreams. We see that same drive in the millions of OFWs abroad chasing dreams for their families. That connection matters to us, and it’s why we build partnerships like this,” said Leo Albea, Head of Philippines Market at Sendwave.
The collaboration also introduces a meaningful Filipino touch to the competition's winning moments.
Through the campaign message “Kapag may panalo, may padala,” Sendwave serves as the official channel for distributing sponsored prize money to the queens, making each victory a celebration of achievement and support.
The partnership extends beyond the television competition, with the season's queens also joining Sendwave as brand ambassadors.
Through future collaborations and storytelling initiatives, the company hopes to highlight the experiences of Filipino senders and their families while giving the drag artists additional opportunities to connect with audiences.
For Sendwave, the campaign recognizes the everyday heroes whose contributions often happen away from public attention.
They include nurses working long hospital shifts overseas, parents sacrificing time with their children, and workers carefully managing their earnings to ensure that their families have enough for education, food, transportation, and household expenses.
Every remittance represents more than financial assistance. It becomes an expression of love, responsibility, and reassurance that distance cannot erase family connections.
In much the same way, the queens of Drag Race Philippines embody the courage to pursue personal ambitions while carrying the hopes of the communities and families supporting them.
With Season 4 celebrating diversity and Filipino talent, Sendwave's involvement adds another dimension to the program by recognizing that success is not always measured by crowns, trophies, or cash prizes.
Sometimes, victory is simply being able to provide for loved ones, fulfill a family obligation, or help someone achieve a dream.
As the queens continue to command the runway, Sendwave hopes to remind viewers that behind every achievement is a story of determination, sacrifice, and unwavering support.
And whether that support comes through a dazzling performance onstage or a remittance sent from thousands of miles away, the message remains the same: love finds a way to reach home.
