Paul Atreides faces greatest reckoning in ‘Dune: Part Three’

The final battle for Arrakis is drawing near.
Warner Bros. Pictures has released the final trailer for Dune: Part Three, offering a glimpse at the epic conclusion to Denis Villeneuve’s adaptation of Frank Herbert’s science fiction saga ahead of its 16 December theatrical release.
Set nearly two decades after Paul Atreides seized control of the Imperium, the third installment finds the once-reluctant hero transformed into a ruthless emperor forced to confront the consequences of his reign.
As old allies return and new enemies emerge, Paul faces growing rebellion across the galaxy while grappling with haunting visions of the empire’s collapse and the return of his long-lost love. Chani becomes central to a sweeping conspiracy that threatens everything he has built, forcing Paul to reckon with the true cost of power.
Timothée Chalamet reprises his role as Paul Atreides alongside Zendaya, Jason Momoa, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Charlotte Rampling, Anya Taylor-Joy, Robert Pattinson, Javier Bardem and Isaach de Bankolé.
Villeneuve directed the film from a screenplay he co-wrote with Brian K. Vaughan, based on Herbert’s novels. The filmmaker also returns as producer alongside Mary Parent, Cale Boyter, Tanya Lapointe and Joe Caracciolo.
