  • The Department of Environment and Natural Resources-Environmental Management Bureau (DENR-EMB) Region IV-A has recognized NutriAsia’s Cabuyao plant for its environmental and sustainability initiatives.

The company received a Plaque of Recognition during the 2026 Environmental Summit at Taal Vista Hotel in Tagaytay City.

With the theme “Climate Action: Fostering Community Spirit, Caring for the Environment,” the summit gathered public and private stakeholders to highlight environmental programs and best practices in water conservation and solid and liquid waste management.

NutriAsia said the recognition reflects efforts to integrate sustainable development and environmental responsibility into its operations.

“This recognition from DENR-EMB Region IV-A is a testament to our team's rigorous dedication to environmental stewardship,” NutriAsia Manufacturing Services and EHS Manager Edsel Anyayahan said.

Anyayahan cited the revival of the company’s Bring Your Own Bote project and its NAItulong community initiatives, including its Adopt-an-Estero program.

Cabuyao Plant Operations Manager Gonver Valencia said sustainability has been integrated into the facility’s daily operations, including green manufacturing, energy efficiency and resource conservation.

Corporate Affairs Manager Wally Panganiban, meanwhile, said the recognition reflects the company’s commitment to working with government agencies in protecting natural resources.

NutriAsia said it would continue efforts to reduce its environmental footprint and align its operations with national sustainability goals.
