  • Authorities carried out a forced evacuation and rescue operation in Sitio Araro, Barangay San Vicente, Orion, Bataan, on 14 August 2026, as rising floodwaters driven by continuous heavy rains from the Southwest Monsoon.

The said disaster has prompted the emergency response from local police and community teams, including the Barangay Peacekeeping Action Teams (BPATs).

The continuous rainfall has threatened the lives of the resident of Sitio Araro, as authorities urged the residents to flee the area.

PAGASA hoisted an Orange Rainfall Warning over Bataan (including Bagac, Mariveles, Morong, Limay, Orion, Pilar, and Balanga) due to the enhanced southwest monsoon (Habagat). This warning means that flooding is threatening in low-lying and flood-prone areas, and residents must prepare for possible evacuation.
