P-pop girl group Xonara is entering a new chapter with the release of its latest single, “Pula,” a song that captures the courage to move forward, pursue dreams, and embrace every step of the journey.
During a media conference before the group’s Pula Pit Stop at TriNoma, the members revealed how much the release meant to them, sharing that they stayed up until 3 a.m. chatting together as they counted down to the song’s midnight premiere.
According to the group, “PULA” had been in development for quite some time, with its concept evolving alongside the music. The track also reflects the members’ shared experiences and growth as artists.
When asked to describe this new era in a single word, each member offered a personal reflection. Megumi chose “testimony,” Lei said “journey,” Dominique described it as “camaraderie,” Ella chose “togetherness,” Tin said “love,” Namie picked “sisterhood,” and Eurekah described it as “comfort.”
For Xonara, those words embody the bond they have built as a group and the message they hope listeners will carry with them. They expressed their wish that fans find the same comfort, love, and inspiration in “Pula” that they poured into creating it.
Beyond its uplifting message, the group also hopes the song encourages people to embrace creativity without fear. Tin told DAILY TRIBUNE Xonara’s artistic philosophy with a simple reminder: “We are artists who love to create art. It will be as simple as just let your heart do the art.”
The music video for “Pula” premiered at 8 p.m. and is now available alongside the single on major streaming platforms, marking the beginning of what Xonara hopes will be a meaningful new chapter in its journey.
