Once again, for the nth time, Kathryn Bernardo faced backlash from netizens after a gossip website claimed that Lucena Mayor Mark Alcala was “missing in action again because, according to the people of Lucena, he’s on another two-week vacation in Thailand with his girlfriend.”

The post elicited strong reactions from netizens, most of whom criticized the Someone, Someday lead star and even dragged Daniel Padilla into the issue.

“Kathryn has a knack for tolerating red flag behavior. From boyfriends and family to fans, that’s just how she is. I thought there would be some character development after her breakup with Daniel, but apparently not.”

“Daniel really looked like a decent guy after just one shower in that Alcala place. At least Daniel is hardworking and highly professional. That’s why he was able to come back even though his life is a mess. But STILL, NO ONE is a WINNER!”

However, one fan debunked the speculation, pointing out that Alcala had even fetched Bernardo from the taping of Someone, Someday.

Later, a reel surfaced on social media showing the couple walking together in what appeared to be a mall or commercial establishment.

Barbie Forteza’s praise for Khalil Ramos sparks online debate

When Barbie Forteza showered her Saving Cherry leading man, Khalil Ramos, with praise, it drew mixed reactions online after she described him as the “perfect leading man.”

“Khalil is the ideal leading man. Finally, nagkaroon na ako ng leading man na maayos (Finally, I had a proper leading man),” Forteza said during an ambush interview after the film’s formal media conference.

Her statement seemingly, albeit unintentionally, sparked intrigue, with some netizens wondering whom she was referring to. Others speculated that it was an indirect swipe at David Licauco, with whom she was previously paired.

One netizen wrote:
