Actress Barbie Imperial marked her birthday by giving back to her hometown in Albay, choosing community service over a traditional celebration.
Imperial visited Maroroy Elementary School, her alma mater, where she distributed school supplies, food, and medicines to students and residents. She said the outreach was a joint decision made with her family, close friends, and boyfriend Richard Gutierrez.
“Instead of having a big party, nag-decide kami ng family, friends ko, and ni Chard na maggi-give back na lang kami.”
During the visit, Imperial also reunited with her former teachers and thanked them for the guidance and values they instilled in her while she was growing up.
The actress said she wanted to give back to the community that helped shape her journey, turning her birthday into a celebration of gratitude and generosity.
