A 54-year-old man listed as the station’s rank number 6 most wanted person for child abuse was apprehended by police authorities in Pasay City on Saturday night.

The accused was identified only by the alias Joselito, 54, a resident of Barangay 144, Pasay City.

The warrant of arrest was served around 6:15 p.m. at Pasay City Police Sub-Station 4.

Operatives from Sub-station 4, alongside the station’s warrant and subpoena section, executed the warrant for violation of Republic Act 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act).

The warrant was issued on 21 March 2016 by Pasay City Regional Trial Court Branch 109.

The accused will be turned over for proper disposition and return of the warrant to the court of origin.

Southern Police District (SPD) Director Brigadier General Glenn Oliver Cinco commended the operating personnel for their persistence in serving long-standing judicial orders, highlighting that the District remains unwavering in its mission to track down fugitives and protect the rights and welfare of children.
